Christian Health has been fostering health, healing and wellness in northern New Jersey for more than 100 years. Short-term Rehabilitation: Post-acute care including rehabilitation therapy and skilled nursing. Mental-Health Services include: Inpatient behavioral health hospital, Short-term partial-hospitalization program, Outpatient counseling for people of all ages. Here at Christian Health, we are blessed with a dedicated team of over 235 volunteers. Our volunteers do everything from assisting with activities, playing music, transporting patients and residents, working in the gift shop, and more. In 2023 alone, our volunteers completed over 12,450 hours of service. We are grateful for our incredible volunteers every day. Happy #VolunteerAppreciationWeek!

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to attend the American Hospital Association's annual meeting in Washington DC. I, along with leaders from the New Jersey Hospital Association and other NJ hospitals and health systems visited the NJ congressional delegation on Capitol Hill to provide feedback on proposed legislation and solicit support for various needs. Christian Health has been providing senior living, short-term rehab, and mental health services to the community since 1911. The Vista is a senior living facility developed on a 30-plus acre site, nestled in the beautiful Ramapo Mountains, adjacent to Christian Health’s existing Wyckoff/Hawthorne campus. The Vista was created with a vision to extend Christian Health’s robust offerings and amenities to the active senior population in northern New Jersey. The program was developed with a focus on wellness and includes a community center spanning more than 30,000 SF. Amenities include multiple dining venues, a wellness center, a salon and spa, an aquatic center, a golf simulator, and a state-of-the-art performing arts center. Christian Health's CEO, Douglas Struyk, CPA LNHA, and his leadership team worked closely with development experts, led by Daniel J. We are proud to announce the opening of our new one-of-a-kind mental health program, Haven, at Ramapo Ridge. Haven, a tranquil environment that allows women to heal, is the only inpatient program in New Jersey dedicated to trauma-informed care just for women. Read the Press Release to learn more.
